Effective Date: 4th August 2025
By making a booking, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment or, if agreed in writing, a non-refundable deposit.
1.2 Payment terms are strictly in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.3 We reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings without notice.
2. Studio Use
2.1 The Client is granted a licence to use the studio and facilities strictly for the time and purpose agreed.
2.2 The studio must be vacated promptly at the end of the hire period. Overruns will incur additional charges.
2.3 All activities must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Damages and Conduct
3.1 The Client is liable for any damage to studio property, equipment or fixtures occurring during the hire.
3.2 Repair or replacement costs will be charged in full.
3.3 Excessive cleaning or failure to tidy the space may incur additional fees.
3.4 Smoking, vaping, and naked flames are prohibited unless explicitly approved.
3.5 The Client is responsible for all guests or crew on site during the hire.
4. Equipment and Technical Support
4.1 All equipment is supplied in good faith and should be inspected at the start of the session.
4.2 The Client is responsible for any damage caused by misuse or negligence.
4.3 Technical support must be pre-booked unless included in the package.
5. Internet Connectivity and Live Streaming
5.1 While Blueprint Studios provides high-speed internet suitable for streaming and remote production, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service in all circumstances.
5.2 The Client acknowledges that live-streamed or internet-reliant productions may be affected by external outages or factors beyond our control (e.g. upstream provider failures or broader network issues).
5.3 Blueprint Studios accepts no liability for any disruption, delay or loss of broadcast caused by such events. The Client is advised to make contingency arrangements where uninterrupted connectivity is critical.
6. Intellectual Property (IP)
6.1 The Client retains ownership of any IP created during their session, provided they hold appropriate rights to all materials used.
6.2 The Client is solely responsible for ensuring all necessary rights, permissions, and licences are in place.
6.3 Blueprint Studios disclaims all liability for any IP infringement arising from the Client’s use of third-party content.
6.4 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client grants Blueprint Studios the right to capture and use behind-the-scenes content for promotional use.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 The Client must comply with all health and safety guidance provided by Blueprint Studios staff.
7.2 Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
7.3 Accidents or near-misses must be reported immediately to a member of staff.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
8.1 Client Cancellations:
More than 14 days’ notice: 25% of hire fee retained
7–14 days’ notice: 50% retained
Less than 7 days: 100% of hire fee is payable
8.2 Rescheduling
is subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.
8.3 Studio-Initiated Cancellations:
In rare cases, Blueprint Studios may need to cancel or reschedule due to health and safety concerns, facility issues, or other force majeure. In such cases, liability is limited to a refund or reschedule of the session.
9. Insurance and Liability
9.1 Clients are advised to obtain insurance for their equipment, crew, and liability exposure.
9.2 Blueprint Studios accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
9.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, profits or data.
10. Force Majeure
Blueprint Studios is not liable for delays, cancellations or losses resulting from events outside our control including, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, fire, or failure of utility services.
11. General
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.3 Variations to these Terms must be agreed in writing by both parties.
